Don't make excuses. This is the problem I have with the Kirk defenders.

He got it handed to him by a rookie.

If all the Hinrich defenders are going to tell me the reason he's a keeper is because of his defense, then don't get schooled by a rookie. That's what I'm saying.

It would sure be nice to have a player who could come up with shots in the clutch. Oh wait, we had one but let him leave.

I'm sure Pargo will step up soon enough.

Hey even if we kept that clutch player, it would have been too difficult for him to find minutes on this team, so he wouldn't even have been out on the court to make a difference anyhow.

the bulls have a crappy bench. we have taj gibson, and sometimes kirk hinrich. vinny is a crappy coach, but if we can fire gar foreman, i'd be estatic. More than anything i'd like gar foreman's head on a stick in front of the united center for putting this team together.

Oh that's right, how could I forget. Any spare minutes at the 2-guard would be quickly eaten up by DNP Pargo. Silly me.

Thank you thank you thank you. I agree though I will say that 22 footer Evans made was amazing. Wasn't much he could do better to defend that.

My night has just been ruined by this team. Thank you Vinny.

That shot he hit at the end, I agree. I think Deng was on him there wasn't he.

I was thinking more the behind the back that broke Kirk's ankles and he had to foul him.

I just can't believe this team managed not to score 100 points.

if rose wasnt so damn tired that layup wouldnt have been so fucking short

He only played 41 minutes.

Playing 41 minutes in a game would never be an issue with Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, Ben Gordon, etc.

He's only playing 35 minutes a game on the season, that's not that much.

If Rose is getting too tired to finish out a game, he needs to work on his conditioning.

those guys you listed are veterans. we're talking about a kid with an ankle thats not quite 100% and a strained rib muscle that required cortizone shots in the last game.

kobe has been in the league for over 10 years and lebron is not human. of course rose still needs work, on a lot of things. the main thing is getting healthy right now.

and where the hell is his jumpshot, its no better than last years.

im just so disappointed right now. this is clipper territory they are entering (and the sad thing is, theyre actually doing better than the bulls)

This just shows why a team that's not that good should never go into cruise control. That was a absolutely horrible loss.

"Now, fast forward to the end of the year, we have [John] Salmons and we have a hell of a three-guard rotation with [Kirk] Hinrich and Derrick [Rose]. Ben wasn’t going to get a whole lot of playing time. [It] was going to be diminished. So Ben really no longer fit. Ben’s a terrific player. But Ben needs minutes. He would not have been happy with the minutes he was going to get."

So yeah, where was Salmons, Kirk and Pargo? All I saw was kirk getting his ass kicked, Salmons being crap and Pargo with the DNP-CD. But thats ok, BG couldn't have beaten any of them out for pt, he just was better the whole year and is the only 20ppg scorer of the bunch, but were was our 4 inches tonight? I thought having a 4 inch taller salmons was gonna make the D and yet Kirk is guarding Evans. Disgusting absolultly disgusting how this team gets a pass for letting our best player go. hy doesn't the media ask where is BG/

I'm not saying keep Hinrich. I'm on the trade everyone but Noah/Rose and tank bus. But if anything I look at Hinrich's game and see he's got 14 points on 9 shots to go with 8 rebounds and no turnovers ... he's been solid the last 4 games which is great, he's playing his way back to being tradeable.

So I'm not going to throw him under the bus as though this one is on him. There are plenty of other players that you should be questioning first. I'm a big Noah supporter, but when he has 5 turnovers that's just not right. A guy who isn't asked to do a lot on offense should not be racking up 5 turnovers.

I'm not putting the loss solely on Hinrich. But the drones always talk about his D, and that's why he's better than Gordon. Funk, Gorches, dopes on talk-radio, etc.. Then when it's time for him to shine with what he supposedly does best, he gets schooled by a rookie. A damn fine rookie, but a rookie none the less.

Bad strategy...made adjustments on Evans too late...Rose wasn't that tired...he just missed that shot. The problem with this team is bigger than any one player. Acting as if some player who has defected would dramatically change the dynamics of this team is to assume that this team has played good basketball for a sustained period of time under VDN. I think there was some fool's gold there. Nothing to last a whole season and take us to the next level...

The Bulls had no one on their roster the last 10 years that could solve this problem. No one was even close to that good. The problem is not with any player leaving...its with who is here now. Looking back is crazy...unless we lose a top notch, allstar caliber player. I think this is a problem with the players not playing like men and the coaching staff being incompetent...

But this is a Reinsdorf/Paxson problem. They tried to sneak in an inexperienced coach to handle the development of the team's franchise player...that is the real problem...worrying about some other player who is no longer here profits nothing...

I'm not gonna go into some Bulls office critique and all...

But this team would be on 50% wins now if they kept BG and traded anyone else but Rose.

Rose will go from Chicago. Why would he waste his talent in a sh*thole like this.

Actually, tonight Rose was part of the problem. He made some really bad turnovers in that fourth quarter. Hinrich and Rose did a terrible job of handling the ball. Just ridiculous.

Well if people aren't putting this all on Kirk why is he the first to get mentioned? I know, the whole Ben Gordon situation ... but consider that

a) Kirk (AFAIK) never asked for Ben to be traded, so why blame him for something that's out of his control?
b) It's Salmons who took over Ben's role, and he was worse than Kirk tonight!

Earlier in the season when Kirk was playing like crap I could understand it, but he's starting to get it together and people are still hating on the guy. Yeah I know Fred says he's the most loved person in Chicago so the hate balances it out, but clearly he's not loved here so I think if anything the need goes the other way here ...

Hmmmm. Last year when that "any one player" was on the team, the Bulls were respectable. After the Salmons Miller trade. Down the stretch last season the Bulls were playing some damn good basketball. That "any one player" is now gone, and the team can barely score 100 points and can't hold of the Kings at home.

You can say all you want that Gordon wasn't going to win us a title. That's not really the point. The point is he could have been a valuable piece. But Just chalk up another bad move under the Reinsdorf administration.

I think the Ben Gordon venting is more aimed at JR than Hinrich. At least for me.
