Not really. Bases clearing doubles don't happen that often.

Good article. Well I really hope Vitters comes around this upcoming season...if he under performs this guy won't be the 3rd basemen we all hoped he could be.

Good article, enjoyed reading it. But, 2 thoughts-
1. You're an amateur blogger, not a reporter. According to who, are the Cubs going after Zack Greinke? You THINK THEY SHOULD go after him is very different then what you actually wrote down.
2. The entire article talks about how bad he is, what a bust he is, how he can't field or bat, and so on, but, then in the last paragraph, you take a totally different take and say he will make the Cubs. Nothing in your article supports your last paragraph.

Does anyone think Lee could be on the same route as Castro?
He will begin 2011 in Double A, per Levine.

Castro better not be 3B, he's just going to get bounced around when he has good range and potentially good D up the middle anyway.

2012 is probably too early, maybe mid-to-late 3023 at the earliest. I think 2013 may be more likely than Opening Day 2012, and definitely not 2011 IMO. But, we have to see how he starts at Tennessee if he really is starting the year there.

Move DeWitt to 3B, move Castro to 2B, Lee to SS. It's much better IMO than Castro to 3B. Because if Vitters isn't a bust he just gets bumped around again (especially if we get a long-term 1B because then Vitters couldn't go there). They need to stop changing everyone's roles and screwing them up IMO.

Dunn will only be here for 3 or 4 years, Vitters can play 3B for a year or two and then move over.
