Oh NO question. Ben Folds (who I dont really like but respect) and Joe Jackson make that song.

And i will just say it, sure, a part of me will die along with Bill Shatner, but "Has Been" is quality.

Agreed. Ben Folds is a damn fine musician. Having Shatner "sing" that was genius.

I had a friend get married probably about 10 years ago. A different friend plays piano and his brother plays cello. They were the music part of the wedding. During the rehearsal, they were discussing what to play, and Pachabel's Canon was right out. As they fiddled with different songs and arrangements, I walked up and whispered into the piano players ear. He laughed for about 5 minutes.

Fast forward about half an hour, and as they bride to be was walking down the aisle, they started playing Brick by Ben Folds 5.

The Judge who ruled on this case, Jean Boyd, is a Tarrant County, Texas elected official (see p. 13 of the second link). She is up for reelection in 2014. If she runs for reelction, or for any other office, voters can vote her out if they want to. I wonder if the defendant's parents, or the defense attorneys, have donated to her previous election campaign(s)? Her email is also listed below if you'd like to congratulate her.

A judge has once again ordered no jail time for a Texas teenager in a drunken-driving crash that killed four people and maiming two others.

Ethan Couch was given probation last year when he first stood trial on counts of intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault. He was back in court Wednesday after prosecutors requested 20 years in jail on charges related to the two injured people.

The hearing was closed to the public. Defense attorney Reagan Wynn told reporters afterward that Judge Jean Boyd ordered the teen to be sent to a rehabilitation facility paid for by his parents.

The judge didn't identify the facility. However, the family previously offered to pay for a $450,000-a-year center in California.
