The Bulls have already reached out to Courtney Lee - K.C. Johnson.

The Bulls need to sign him so his name is not brought up at every trade deadline.

Lee's the best the Bulls are gonna get. That being said, he's getting interested from half of the league so there's no chance the Bulls sign him.

Nothing they can do unless they decide to effectively blow up the team and trade away Deng and Noah for junk. Courtney Lee is one of the better options out there for what we can afford. At the very least, he can shoot and defend so he's better than whatever we have. Solid role player, but far from "the guy"

Wade's the best shooting guard in the league.

I agree. People need to stop jumping to conclusions. Roy has been in rehab for a while now and had the surgery in advance. We haven't seen him on the court, therefore we don't know if his injury has crucially affected his game. Obviously the injury has affected it, but Roy can still play basketball with creaked knees. Game 4/Round 1 against the Mavericks explains it all. Doubt him and he'll come back stronger.

Tell you what, if we were in a last minute situation during the playoffs, I'd rely more on Roy than Lee. Brandon is a finisher and that's what we need. Someone that can give us points no questions asked and finish the job. Healthy Rose and a healthy Roy? My goodness.

Your conclusion is that having not seen Roy means he's healthy and would be a good signing. After being injured he retired rather than just say he needed a year or even two off to rehab. Shouldn't the more obvious step be to wonder if the surgery and rehab he's done so far has been successful and he has overcome the injury that made him so willing to retire?

Lee is the better option because he may not have the Roy potential to reach what the three year old videos show, he brings a consistent no question game from day one. Lee has never been 'the man' on his teams but you also run the risk of Roy not being the player he was but acting like he deserves to be 'the man' like he was. Those things you say Roy "is' are really the things he "used to be'. Very few players come back from retiring due to injury and have the same explosive game they once did.

I'm with those who would rather have Lee over Roy. Lee is not the answer, as someone mentioned, but he is a good player. He can defend and can score. If we can get him on a 4 year deal, he'd be a great player off the bench for us in the future. Roy might not even be in the league in a couple of years, depending on how he plays or if he gets injured again.

We don't need to have a Wade-esque SG. Wishing for that, wont happen. We're better off filling the roles we need, and improving in areas that we can capitalize on other teams in game.

We need a 2 scorer. Something tells me Courtney Lee, or an old Brandon Roy won't fit the bill.

Who is it then?
It could be number of guys, I could list names til I'm blue in the face.

I know this much, it isn't on the Bulls roster as currently constructed.
