Well I didn't say Kirk wasn't good, I just said that CJ might be a better defender for the PG position overall. Reason being athleticism. We know Kirk struggles with quick PGs and you're seeing a lot more of those now. Against the slower bigger guards, Kirk is way better, but against the Ty Lawsons and Russell Westbrooks and Jrue Holidays of the NBA, he's going struggle and everyone's going to hate him for it despite KNOWING that he isn't good against that type of player. Now guarding Dwyane Wade...since we're probably losing Brewer, he's our best defender against him.

i guess i see your point

Fair enough. Wonder who gets the start...

If they get Lee, I'd guess either him or Bradley. Terry doesn't care if he comes off the bench or not. I wonder if they'll bring back Pietrus

Actually, Kirk is viewed as much as a combo guard as CJ is, just with less scoring and more passing. And while he never would've passed to Asik (I think) he probably would've very well missed the free throws himself. We all know how clutch Kirk Hinrich is...

Maybe you missed the hundreds of times Kirk would dribble around in circles for 22 seconds and then pass it to players like Wallace with 1-2 seconds left on the clock. I wouldn't put to much stock into his playmaking decisions.

And perhaps you missed the hundreds of times where he made the right play. :smug:
