Paul Goldschmidt and Adam LaRoche are much, much, much more deserving of being in the ASG than LaHair. LaHair can't hit lefties and got platooned, then moved to another position and he's still somehow an all-star.

:smh: :obama:

Well...to be fair...he wasn't moved to another position b/c he really sucked at 1b or something.

Castro is fine, but LaHair should have not made the all-star.

If Gold hitting .386 vs LH which you face 1 time week what he doing against RH they face 5 times a week? hitting .250?

I agree Gold deserves it more.. But its not like there a huge difference. Honestly i rather have a guy who hits RH pitchers more then hitting LH cause teams see RH 75% of the time

I think Sori deserves it way more than LaHair. I think Sori is somewhat of a snub this year.

ehhhh idk about that

lahair got in because of his ridiculous first month and that the 1B position also sucks in the NL

he should not have gotten in, as can be gauged from his dropping numbers

Word is that Joey Votto might miss the ASG. That might mean that Brian LaHair could be your starting NL 1B.

I don't really think Bryce Harper was a snub. You can't put him in just because of his age... the other outfielders have been better.

If I were TLR I'd put Beltran at 1B and another guy in the OF before I let LaHair start the ASG :D

Funny to think though that he might be in the running to start an ASG despite the circumstances.

It's not Omar Infante bad or even Mark Redman bad, but choosing Bryan LaHair makes me :obama: even though I'm a Cubs fan

As the ASG manager I'd switch Beltran to 1B for sure, but I know that TLR is probably just going to have to play LaHair at 1B to start. Having a starting 1B who plays for the worst club in the majors who isn't actually that good anymore does annoy me though.
