I learned one thing from this, no Chicago Cubs autograph collection will be complete without a Steve Bartman sig..

That was a good documentary....never watch again though as it brought up so many emotions.

Anger..anxiety,depression,etc that the cubs lost game 6 and 7. At the end just felt sad. Felt sad for steve. NO MAN deserves to go through what hell he had and still goes through. Being blamed for the collapse.

bartman is not Gonzales. Bartman is not prior, wood, sosa, baker, or whoever. Cubs still had a game 7 at HOME, and lost. Blame the players and Dusty baker. Time to move on.

Sadly cub fans will always blame bartman...Just Sad

Overall the documentary was very well done. I get the Buckner connection but there was a bit too much of it...the '04 Red Sox already had their 30 for 30.

Players lose the games, not fans.

I barely remember game 7. Not because of game 6, I almost remember the Bravea series better, Or Aramis' grab slam haha. Maybe add a lot of alcohol consumption in the years since haha

They made, what I thought, was a really good point towards the end when they said that ultimately it's up to Bartman to forgive Chicago, not the other way around.

There is plenty of blame to go around. How about good old Dusty who let Mark Guthrie face Mike Lowell in Game 1 because he was afraid of bringing in a righty and "risking" McKeon countering with the same Lenny Harris that the Cubs cut earlier in the season because he couldn't hit anymore. Or how about Dusty deciding to let Prior rack up 116 pitches in game 2 when the Cubs had a 12-2 lead? That combined with the ridiculous workload he put Wood and Prior under to get to the postseason couldn't at all explain why Prior ran out of gas in game 6...

The point is that the Cubs collectively blew a very winnable series that is the closest that any of us have ever seen them to the World Series.

That cannot and will not happen until the Cubs make the world series.

Steve Bartman has done everything right since that day. I just hope for the day that we can one day give him the same opportunity bill buckner was given.

With Santo passed away when we make the world series Bartman should throw out the first pitch.
