It is an insult to KOBE himself to have people mention Lebitch in the same sentence.
Kob is lightyears away from Lebron and his jewery proves it.....Until Lebron has a ring, shut your dam mouths.

We were just talking about rings not being the deciding factor when....never mind.

Be that as it may. His 5 assists don't mean they are going to the big men for easy shots in the paint. He doesn't need to average a lot of assists to be effective at passing the ball. What I mean is, him being a bit of a ball stopper stagnates the offense and allows the defense to set up and key in on him because they know he isn't passing it.

You have any evidence as to who those assists are going to? Have you seen that team? Who else is going to score? The Lakers are crappy outside of those 3 players. Plus Pau and Bynum are basket cases.

He got his points within the offense...just like Phil Jackson planned it. Plus MJ always said that if the triangle breaks down, play ball. For MJ that meant get the basket, it meant the same for Kobe.

They can be basket cases all they want to. They can still score in the paint. Bynum can get his shot down there, but there are games where he's only gotten 8 shots or so, while Kobe jacked up 25+. That's evidence. Kobe never liked the whole inside out thing. He was saying that with Shaq playing with him. He even said that this year.

This sentence is key right here. Jordan said that and that implies that he would at least run the offense and if it didn't work, he would get the best shot available. Kobe on the other hand would just break the offense and go for his shot. 2004 NBA Finals is proof enough. He was part of the reason they lost in 5 games.

Of course you'll dispute that, but I watched that series and he didn't have any regard for the team at all and shot them right out that series.

He was part of the reason they lost in 2004...and he was part of the reason they won 5 titles!!!! You really think Phil just sat there, with Tex and let Kobe destroy their offense? Absolutely not.
