I would say that the Bull pen isn't going to be needed for Team A and really isn't that much off than Team B unless you believe Marmol is Rivera.

Team A, the defense is better and starting pitching is a lot better, though Peavy is a MAJOR question mark, but Cashner I guess could be the #5 guy until Peavy is healthy enough to pitch. Bullpen is better on team B, but they don't get into as many games thanks to being dominated by Team A starting pitching.

brett, you sure A's defense is better than B's.

I was just looking back and I disagree with that.

DEFENSE
LF - Pierre > Soriano
CF - Byrd or Rios, don't know much about Rios's defense, but Byrd's is better
RF- Colvin or Perez, wash
3B - Morel > Ramirez
SS - Alexei is probably better right now, but Castro will be in the future
2B - DeWitt or Beckham, IDK
1B - Pena > Konerko
C - Soto or Castro, don't know about Castro's defense, but Soto is WAY better offensively.

Just my two cents on that claim.

Wow, voting is 3-3! Whoever's teams these are seem to have had an odd draft, but actually even.

Lol, B has like a hundred catchers, and A has a backup and a minor leaguer.

These two hurt each other so much in their picks, LOL.

Team B's bullpen and middle of the lineup did it for me.

Cashner is way overrated on this board. He was very average last season. He has potential, but that is it.

Marmol > Thornton

Marshall > Wood

Sale > Cashner

And it isn't even close.

With the teams being so even bullpens will totally matter.

Wait wut? He's centered by a top 3 playmaker in the league who ranks 57th ALL TIME in assists at age thirty-frickin-one.

:D

And that isn't Cubs bias either, he has sale over Cashner.

B :) Real solid lineup with a little bit of everything, great bench with vets and rookies, a very respectable pitching staff and bullpen

I was going A, but then I saw that B was pretty good and had a better middle of the order, defense, and a comparable pitching staff. I'm going B.

I went heavy on the hitting a first then picked up marmol as my first pitcher. he had 2 or 3 starters before i got dempster. :buttrock: and I also picked up Vizquel earlier then i should. He would make Castro(#1 pick) much better in the defensive game
