That shit makes me all jumpy like a crack head

Doesn’t do anything but make water taste better for me. Has the same effect on my wife though. Does have some caffeine but less than the amount that would be in a coffee. Also has an overabundance of B12. Maybe that or the specific type of caffeine used.

I think it's the B12, cause I'm good with coffee tea soda etc as far as caffeine is concerned.

Coffee this am.

But stopped at the new Krispy Kreme by me yesterday. Tried the new original glazed coffee and it was too sweet. Hurt my damn stomach.

If you craft beer guys have not been drinking anything from Hop Butcher, then you are missing out. They have been on fire in 2018.

So many new breweries it's hard to keep them straight, I have had a few of their offerings and I agree they are killing it.

At the moment, a Black n Tan. Though the bartender insists on calling it a Blacksmith.

Smithwick’s is their only ale.

I've never heard it called that, half and half, but not that. Harps, Bass Ale or Smithwicks are what's usually used, heavier ales are most common, could use any amber ale, lager, pilsner in a pinch though.

With all the new breweries popping up I tend to follow the "give em a year" rule before trying them out.

It gives them time to get their bugs worked out and proves that they have a product worth trying.

They tried giving me Michelob Golden LIGHT.

They do try and attach a name these days to every slight variation of a drink.

A Manhattan now has ten names.

Chicago has like 60 breweries in the city and another 120 something in the burbs. Crains is calling Chicago the new craft beer capital.

A few of the new ones will come out on fire but don't usually have a lot available. When word gets out about a good beer the beer hounds pounce, it's crazy.
