It would be nice for a outoftowner to know where to go for game four. Any good places downtown?

My flight will land at O'Hare at 4 PM so hopefully I will have some time to get to a good bar.
What types of places do you like?

Some sportbar where the game is in centrum and not muted down in the background. And where the crowed have a good knowledge of hockey.

If thats to hard to find downtown, I guess any good sportbar with the game on will do.

All bars downtown will have the game on and volume up, but I couldn't tell you one that will have a crowd with a good knowledge of hockey. Knowledgable fans here and there, but all of them will be packed to the gils and the bandwagon will over runeth. Where exactly are you staying?

The guys from SecondCity Hockey are going to be at the Bottom Lounge, so that's one place that will have some knowledgeable hockey fans.

So, after all the rhetoric in this thread it appears that the organization will NOT be

doing anything for the fans................................

I'm sorry I didn't catch the name of the Bar, but there is some type of road watch on Weed St.

I can email my friend if that is close enough to where you are staying.

Joe's on Weed St. is probably the place.

Edit, it is the place.

Also, apparently there's broadcast restrictions that prevent the Hawks from showing road games at the UC. The Canadiens probably didn't have the same restrictions because they're in Canada.

Interesting, I believe there was one during the Philly-Boston series though...

Maybe it was because it was still on local cable and not Versus/NBC.

That's a very good point. I just remember being in Boston and the feed showed a picture of them all screaming and yelling at the stadium in Philly, or vice versa I can't remember.

I can only imagine with Comcast owning Versus, that they had a hand in it as they are so powerful in Philly.

I do not buy it for a moment.

If the Blackhawks wanted to make it happen I am sure it would be done.

Cue Mr. Marketing Genius McD.
