Don't sweat it, those are the things you can't read in an article. Pip was a late invite to the pre draft camp and nobody knew who he was coming from Central Arkansas. After people saw him play, they were like "who F is this guy?"
Krause became obsessed with him, like he was about Kukoc. Pip and Toni were two of the better things Krause did. It was very much a Bulls against the Pistons thing back then. I remember Pip and Grant being the Bulls version of Rodman and Salley very well.
I also remember the 1st Bulls practice with the Bulls with MJ and Pip. MJ tells the story that MJ went to block Pip and Pip slammed the ball on MJ with his left hand. It was said that MJ just turned his head and looked at the coach and smiled. Mj, to this day, says Pip had the best left of anyone other than James Worthy, who he played with at NC.
