I think he was leaving the option open for a trade but didn't commit to one. Most of the media took "options open" as "yes he would probably accept a trade" and that's probably what the fans went with, myself included. Life goes on.

That is fine, but if his comments were similar to Alfonso Soriano's I still think the wrath would be less. He wanted to be cuddly Mr. Cub and when push came to shove that image has been shattered. That is why the anger is there. At least to me that is the difference between Aramis Ramirez and Ryan Dempster.

Guess it was just a ground-rule double. Stupid fans.

It looked like the fans knocked it down, then it went just behind the wall. It was not conclusive, though.

Dempster = 60 pitches through four, about to go in the fifth. He probably goes six or seven today.

Only two hits given up by Dempster so far have been home runs. Them's the breaks.

Don't care...Only cared about Dempster to get a return to help the Cubs, and now that he has made it clear that the CUbs are going to get nothing I really could care less if he wins the Cy Young or not.

The Cubs can still get that comp pick.

Quality start in danger.

Really don't care anymore about the comp pick. I want them to pitch him til his arm fall off at this point since it is clear Dempster isn't concerned about what the Cubs get for him.
