Heard Jamal Mayers on NHL Radio this afternoon. Credited Q with managing the team well off the ice, too.

"He considered rest a weapon."

Vets got time off, he counted on them showing up and playing hard in games, which he considered more important.

Normally I'd say rest would be the enemy, because you gotta keep your head and body in the game to maintain momentum, but with the way they got beat on in the first two series they definitely needed to get put on ice.

Will be interesting to see how the best coach in blackhawks history reacts to cooper tonight.

TBCIBH has been known to completely adjust by the 2nd period.

I'm right on queue. Ok. Go check out any site you post on for the past 7 years, and see what ever you write about Q. Your lips go from Morin to Pirri to Cuminsky to whoevers **** belongs to the next shitbag player you think deserves a chance while proving nothing until the next one fails.

I defend a guy that has a pulse of his team. And nope...not all his decisions work. But the majority of them have and there's usually a pretty good reason he makes them. And deserves the benefit of the doubt. Chances are, if he sat Toews and Keith - there would be a reason for it...much like the reason he sits others. Doesn't mean anyone has to understand or like it. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The guy trusts veterans that have either won in the league or won for him - more than he trusts a player that thinks they're entitled He's played plenty of young players in his time here that prove they can play a responsible two way game. Why is that so hard to accept?

So what changed on the PP in game 7 than game 3? Same units were together that scored in game 2 as well. Nothing changed - they just produced.

What's he doing that's amazing? Lets see....hmmmm..winning? Style of play is exciting. Team plays hard for him and loves playing for him. Defence is best in the league at moving the puck. Team has been competitive since he came here.

What's to hate? He doesn't dress Morin or Pirri. Didn't put Cuminsky (who had played 7 NHL games in 3yrs) in the lineup immediately? (who was a turn over machine at times as well....but it's excused because YOU want him in) Doesn't win series in a fast enough fashion?

The fact that you can't come up with anyone else you think is better, what is the continuous whining like a ***** about him for 7 years going to improve?

As Q would say.........."You betcha"

Why Pez get banned, did his anti-Q rants get too grating. I can't wait for him to get an NHL coaching job, he's going to win so many Cups.

With the amount of games the core has played over the last couple of years, getting enough rest is likely going to go in your favour. Coach Q has earned the trust of his players and he trusts them to bring it when the games begin.

He was threatening to beat me up like I was Dan Carcillo or something. Not sure why he got so mad.
