Bears won't be in the running for BJ I don't think. Kahn
At this point we better just lock down McCarthy here comes the Jags and that oil money.
Yeah Bears won't outbid Kahn if he wants BJ and he's already said he'd fire Balke if it was a problem with the new coach he wants.

McCarthy is probably the right choice I just hate that clown

Yeah I don't think BJ will be making more than the Andy Reid's on the league, so I don't think money will be that big of an issue. There's a cap, is what I mean.

Word on the street (according to a show i follow)

Johnson is socially awkward, doesn't command a room, no presence (but is a play calling genius)

Latest word this afternoon is Raiders (where they have Brady and others to command respect) or staying in det as oc

I think people are looking waaaay to into that quote. He was just pumping up his college, nothing more.

BJ knows he can take any HC job he wants at this point, he knows it doesn't hurt his stock at all you lay compliments on Glenn like that.
Rorschach Test. If you like BJ then the comment means nothing. If you have serious concerns about him then the comment reads like something a beta would say.

My favorite teams
  1. Indiana Hoosiers
All of these rumors etc. fall into 1 of 2 categories.

1.) Idiots talking out of their ass with no idea or inside information about what is going.

or

2.) Agents/Teams putting out or leaking information specifically to help with leverage in contract negotiations.

It's funny how I don't hear much criticism of NE not doing their due diligence of speaking to Ben Johnson IN PERSON before hiring Vrabel. Seems a bit reckless, no?

Not sure the focus on the Rooney rule. If Johnson is your top candidate then you cant really hire him until the Lions season is over. So there is no real point trying to rush through the Rooney rule process.

The Pats could rush because Vrabel was their top and likely only real candidate.

Yes, but my point is that that sounds awfully foolish to be fixated on one candidate, no?

Does this sounds familiar at all...?

It’s Boston, they can do no wrong to the national media.

Especially the same candidate that the Tom Brady Raiders are seemingly enamored with and will do anything to win over.

Flores is a credible HC candidate though. Not just a Rooney Rule filler.

And he’s not. Just like I won’t even set foot in the state of Indiana.
@Montucky I probably missed your past musings on this topic, but what exactly is so wrong with Indiana? South Bend? Meriillville?? Muncie??? What’s not to love?

I dont understand why people are losing their shit over the Bears interviewing candidates...

Is there some unwritten rule that you can only interview 5 candidates or something....

Reminds me of the 7 minute abs routine...
Or how about we settle at 10?

there has been a lot of criticism on it

Sincerely, someone who’s obviously been following the Patriots.
