So.....
Last year - not counting New England, because they had their successor - the following were open.
Washington
Atlanta
Carolina
Tennessee
Seattle
LA Chargers

This year, the following were open -
Chicago
New England
Jacksonville
Las Vegas
New Orleans
Dallas
NY Jets

The guy was rumored to be asking for a king's ransom in terms, yet with all those openings he will stay as OC in Detroit?
Hes 0-7 so far

Yes, but my point is that that sounds awfully foolish to be fixated on one candidate, no?

Does this sounds familiar at all...?
Usually I would say yes but Vrable and the Pats are unique given their history together.

The money the Raiders would pay is going to be insane - but from a football perspective, that is a rough landing spot for BJ.

If cheap ass George had one time to not be outbid it’s this time. You want the state to help you with a stadium + you have a #1 pick QB but you won’t pay up for the top coach? Honestly who even wants him or his team in the city anymore? Let him leave and bring in a different organization it’s getting to that point.

Speaking of Monken, i watched the latest episode of "Hard Knocks AFC North" and noticed i haven't seen Todd Monken in one single episode. There's a guy who's name i think is Zachory Orr and every time they show him they put Offensive Coordinator under his name. Anyone know what that's all about or anyone seen Monken at all and i somehow missed him in any episode?
Orr is actually the DC.

Raiders are a total mess. I pointed some of those things out before here in terms of the coaching competition and situation the Raiders would be in... on top of the brutal history and how they run through coaches and GMs. The Bears are obviously crap with coaches/GMs, but the Raiders are somehow worse. And in terms of talent potential, it's not even close. If I'm the Raiders, I'm giving anything I can to get a coach like Tomlin to re-baseline the locker room and culture. They need someone to weather the storm as the team re-builds.

AFCW seems almost impossible for LV to win anytime soon. Going up against arguably the top 3 HC/ young QB combos in the league.

They're bringing in a new GM and have preached patience in their rebuild with Brady at the helm.

Poles needs a big year next year and has prioritized skill positions over the lines. They need to hit on 4-5 players this off-season to make this roster a legit contender and given Poles batting average thus far - I wouldn't count on it.

Johnson would need to win in year 1 with this setup and given our division - that shit's not ideal in the slightest. Go with Brady + a new GM and you'll have time.

McCarthy is starting to grow on me.

He is not a bad choice.

Monken
McCarthy
Caroll

Are now my top 3.
Welcome aboard the McCarthy train. I was the first person on.

The raiders only have to hit on a full roster, and a new qb(with no way to get one), and hope davis doesnt meddle, which he does.

Given the raiders division, im not sure he ever wins.

I forgot tom brady is a genius executive/owner now. No one has a reason for the raiders outside "omg tom brady". Thats basically the worst situation out of all these roster wise.

Will he? How much time do you think he gets? Brady has that new owner shine and wants the big name but there is little logic to it. How many 5 win seasons before he gets bored and wants a new toy?

same exact crap i just saw on fox gameday tiktok. Howie long said the bears are by far the best job, jimmy johnson said you need a qb to win in this league so the bears are the best job.

Then michael strahan said raiders, because brady.

When your minority owner is all you have going for you, then you are not a good job.
