Maybe deep down he doesn’t like Caleb, even though he said a few nice things about him in a press conference. If you had a low opinion of a QB and knew you were going to be stuck with him wouldn’t that be more of a deterrent? We don know what this guy is really thinking

Some people think football is just quarterback. Caleb is the only reason he took the interview. The only reason he would not come here is because he doesn’t want to work in George’s clown show when he can go to Vegas or Jacksonville and run his own show. It’s about work environment and power.

Or it’s as simple as which one of the 3 teams is going to pay him the most money. He would only take an interview if he would consider the job remember? He wants a bidding war and more power to him that’s my guess.

We don’t know why he took the interview, for all we know he took it as a courtesy just to hear what they had to say or for leverage against other teams.

Or maybe he is so focused on the playoff's he really hasn't given it much thought, and everything is clickbait, fluff, and agents creating drama.

He had it put out there publicly that he would not do this. If he took the interview he was serious about considering the job.

That would be half. "Just win baby!" Go Oakland!!! Were Madden and Gibron cousins? Nostalgia is cool, man! Peace out.

Spelling 'half' as 'halve' has been a running CCS bit for longer than I've been here. I'm well aware of the correct spelling, thanks.

Just a heads up, betonline has taken the bears next coach odds off, and also the Raiders now have pete carroll as a favorite over Ben Johnson.

The Tomlin news is significant. He makes $16 million which means they will be willing to at least match that for Johnson if they have to. The optics of losing him over money when you would pay Tomlin that amount is not something they will want to deal with when trying to get the public behind them for a stadium.

Warren needs this public opinion win.

Thank god the Steelers saved us from ourselves. They just had the offensive version of Mike Tomlin in their building a few days ago.

They should be contacting CLE to inquire about Stefanski. If you can connect some dots, he's almost certainly the one who texted Florio a couple month ago asking him why his name wasn't included among potential HC trades for the Bears. 2 time COY winner.

CLE is in a stasis right now waiting to rid themselves of Watson's contract and dead cap money before they can realistically compete again. It's going to be a while. I don't know why they wouldn't want to get a jump start on that rebuild if the Bears came calling.

I’d rather have Stefanski over Tomlin. Would be ecstatic if they pulled that off.

1) Does not
2) A known beta with the NFL top offense, a HC your QB wants.
3) Won't have to look at dumbass fans dressed as Ditka in the stands ......Duh Bears
4) Won't have to worry about some Special person that wasted the 32nd overall pick on Chase Claypool. Or drafting a punter in the 4th, or VJJ
5) Won't be working for a team president that can't get a stadium built to save his life
6) See 4
7) Won't have to worry about his incompetent GM not knowing how to build out an O-line
8) It's called family, dumbass
9) Not in a division with the Lions, Vikings, and Green Bay

Now, if you really want to see what a Beta cuck looks like, just look at the McCaskey boys.
1) Sure it does. You and others have been adamant it isnt about the money but then you worried about state taxes.

2) No one said he isn't a good playcaller. Just that he is a beta.

3) Can you be anymore stupid?

4) Every GM fucks up so pretending you know how good his GM would be in Vegas is stupid.

5) The Chiefs who have one 3 Super Bowls recently are also struggling to get a stadium built and yet they still keep winning. Almost like this has **** all to do with the product on the fields.

6) See 4

7) Bears OL when healthy has been ranked middle of the pack.

8) You saying his family soft too?

9) Lol the AFC West had coaches that have appeared in 5 SBs winning 4. They have arguable better QBs and better defenses. None of the NFC Coaches have been to a SB.

Actually, Reid alone has been to 5, winning 3. Harbaugh has been to 1 and then Sean Payton went to 1 and he won it. So, 7 SBs winning 4.

I am talking about me lol.

Brady is the most famous American athlete probably since MJ. Is his jersey still number 1? You think he wasn't fucking random hot chicks? He is just smart enough not to get caught and have it go public.
And I was talking about Brady.

Lol he isn't smart enough at all. He left his pregnant partner for Giselle. He just gets a pass for being white.

Craziest theory I heard from a raiders fan is that ben johnson wants the raiders because he can bring hendon hooker w/ him to be starting QB.

Yea, he's risking his only HC chance on a guy who the lions didnt even trust enough to be the lone backup in the playoffs.

I don’t think there would be less pressure if you went to the Las Vegas Raiders, and signed a massive contract. There would be all kinds of pressure.
Less pressure in the sense they obviously need to rebuild so he likely gets a few years of grace. Any new Bears coach is likely going to be expected to make the Bears a playoff contender this year.
