Keurig certainly has become very popular, but part of me laughs like it was all a practical joke or a dare.
"Hey, Bob, I am going to make a machine that a) makes only one cup at a time, so it takes longer to get coffee unless you are alone, b) the coffee will not taste nearly as good as we are used to from other methods, and c) and this part is my favorite...we'll charge significantly more per cup!
I used to have a Kuerig and it didn't take me long to realize how much it sucked. Those things got gross after awhile and you have to be careful there wasn't mold growing in them. Then of course, comes the environment issue with the k-cups. I find it funny that the inventor completely regrets it.
