"Excess fat can’t be blamed on insulin, carbohydrates or the Loch Ness Monster. Gaining body fat comes from taking in more calories than you burn. Anyone who can prove otherwise will surely win a Nobel Prize in physics for disproving the first law of thermodynamics. I am unaware of that particular Nobel having been awarded."
Guilty as charged. I used to wolf down a large caramel frappuccino from McDonalds every morning. Now I just get a large iced coffee from Dunkin Donuts.
Screw french press. Screw K-cups too.
Aeropress is much better. Similar concept, but smarter, faster, better filtering, more flavor, costs less, easier to maintain and clean, very portable.
I'm sure the purists here will shit on this, but ease of use is a major factor for me (especially early in the morning). Don't wanna **** around with trying to get the water to a perfect temp, mess with a pour over, or French press, etc.
Finally got tired of the shit coffee coming out of my Keurig and wanted a drip machine with some versatility. Did some research, read a bunch of reviews, and ended up pulling the trigger on this thing:

Despite the gimmicky Ninja name, it makes a pretty good cup of coffee. Even coffee snobs on Reddit were generally pretty positive about it. Got it today and have made several cups. Light years better than that fucking Keurig.
I've got a grinder on the way too, should be here today. Picked up some beans from a local roaster so tomorrow am will be my first attempt at that.Keurigs suck.
French press if I am feeling fancy, or I use a Cuisinart drip machine. I always grind my beans though, that was the one change I made that made coffee taste so much better.

Probably better than my Keurig tbh.I really need to up my game. I've been using this shitty coffee maker I got for my wedding and foldgers lmao
How much does a roaster cost? How hard is it?Get a roaster, grinder, French press, and some Sumatran beans.
Or if you have a local roaster, just get some fucking Sumatran beans.
Holy shit!!!
