Again this is basic English. If my intent was to blame SOLELY Kmet I would say he was the ONLY/SOLE player that cost us the game. I did not. Hence why when other players were mentioned I agreed they also cost us the game.

For the avoidance of doubt in the future, my position is that multiple players are invovled in costing us the game. Just because I dont name each and everyone does not change that fact. It is a team game so inevitably there will almost always be more than one player that cost us the game. If I think only one player is at fault I will use the resources English provides and say SOLE or ONLY.

Correct because the thread was about him not other players and he did in fact cost us the game with that block. He was not the only one that cost us the game.

I am not obligated to mention others that are not the topic of the thread so your feelings wont be hurt. When others were brought up I acknowledged they were also responsible for the loss. If you want a safe space then go to therapy. Otherwise I would recommend you stop being a sensitive snowflake. Kmet cost us the game.

I have had to defend him so much in twitch chat the last year. So many people think he sucks because he's not fast.

Guys is super reliable with sure hands and has improved every single year. Only behind Kelce and Kittle in TD's the last 2 years.

I'd bet his lack of blocking has killed more drives than his TD numbers...by far! This is real football, you have to go deeper than Fantasy Football stats.

That’s true. But Kmet doesn’t play defense. Hold them to 3 and not 7. But yes the refs completely goatfucked that call. I’m not sure there is another TE that takes hits like Kmet but still holds onto the ball. Dude takes fucking missiles but doesn’t drop the ball

We were down 14-9 and went downn 21-9. It clearly cost us the game. That doesnt mean other players were also at fault.

@bamainatlanta can usually get the win/loss probabilities so I presume he can weigh in on how much that play decreased our chances of winning.

Indy’s odds of winning went from 75% to almost 95% after that play. Also, the timeout usage earlier in the second half affects odds of winning but Flus hasn’t figured that out yet.

Everett is 14 not 84 which is Lewis. This makes it even worse. He has help inside so the one thing Kmet cant do is get beat outside which he did. This is inexcusable blocking. If he stops him going outside then Lewis can help him.

Thanks. No idea why it seems to take them so long to get plays in. Also didnt help Rome and Caleb were celebrating their firsr TDs. As a coach you gotta make sure they know you may go for 2. I also thought they were the 2 points too early.

I know how many points they put-up...16...."Acting like one play lost the Bears this game?" Where did I say or even insinuate that? My pov is he is a below average blocker and will never get better. You're confusing different posts with different posters. The bigger question is, who knows how many grains of sand are on the Earth? Stars in the Universe? We know 4 years now what his contributions are, and in totality now as good as his groupies think. Again I'll say it..."I'm not interested in Fantasy Football takes, but his all-around play as a TE is not that good. Blocking is a big part of playing TE and he fails miserably at it.

I would say overall he is a net positive but you cant be a 6-6 260 pound Inline TE and get a pass for shit blocking.

He is not an undersized move TE. He is suppossd to be big, strong and fast enough to occassionally block a 240-270 pound edge player.

When Allen comes back we arent going to be able to run a lot of 11 personnel if Kmet cant be asked to block an Edge player on occassion. Hence why Lewis is playing so much.

So I can already see fans crying about 2 TE sets or Lewis playing in 11 personnel when the reality is Kmet needs to block better if he wants the bulk of the reps in single TE sets.

And if it gets to that point then teams will really know if it's a run or pass play. He may be a net positive, but imo, by the slimmest of margins. For me he's a break even at best. As I have stated in a previous post, Kmet is a blessing AND a curse.

We'll have to agree to disagree as the saying goes. Imo his positives don't outweigh the negatives in an all around TE game. But it's ok to disagree. You are understanding me very well I believe. I don't want to be taken too seriously, but respectfully. Imo there is too much seriousness on this board. We are talking football. People get too serious and then start throwing insults around, name calling and other stupid shit. This is not directed at you.
