I know Kmet had help inside so he isnt supposed to let Latu outside. I know Kmet knows his assigments and said ot was all on him.

He is above average. Not elite. Elite TEs don't whiff on blocks as much as Kmet does. I like the guy but he needs to quit listening to the O-line coach and the matador blocking scheme that they have implemented on the offensive line this year.

I explained in detail why Kmet was at fault. You square up on a player when you are one on one because that player can beat you inside or out so you have to protect both sides. If you have help to one side you shade to the other side and make sure you are always in position to redirect the player to your help. Kmet's first step should have been to slide outside and force Latu into Lewis. That is why it is his fault and that is why he said his technique failed. Lewis pushing Latu towards Kmet is no excuse because that is what Lewis is supposed to do ie force Latu to his help. If Kmet had not slid inside he would have been in perfect position to stop Latu from going outside. If Latu then tried to go back inside, Lewis would be there to help stop him.

So if I explain why I think a player fucked up and they admit they fucked up then there is no logical reason for me to believe you especially when you have offered no counter to my comments above about his poor technique. You want me to ignore what the player when he knows his assignment and when it is obvious he outside leverage based on zero logic beyond you wish to be right.

Again this is basic English. If my intent was to blame SOLELY Kmet I would say he was the ONLY/SOLE player that cost us the game. I did not. Hence why when other players were mentioned I agreed they also cost us the game.

For the avoidance of doubt in the future, my position is that multiple players are invovled in costing us the game. Just because I dont name each and everyone does not change that fact. It is a team game so inevitably there will almost always be more than one player that cost us the game. If I think only one player is at fault I will use the resources English provides and say SOLE or ONLY.
