It was 7 man protection so designed for him to hold the ball long as he only has 3 WRs on routes against 7 guys in coverage. Kmet also had Lewis but again let Latu get outside away from his help. If he had kept Kmet to his inside then Caleb has more than enough time.

Kmet already took 100% blame for it so not sure why this is even debatable.

So Caleb or Lewis arent good teammates as why didnt they come out and assume blame?

Kmet took the blame because he was at fault. It is clear in the video he has help inside from Lewis and it is clear in the video he gets beat outside. That is a huge no no.

You cannot get beat to the side away from your help. You have to block a guy back towards your help. This is basic and why Kmet took the blame for his poor technique. If he maintains outside leverage then Latu is forced inside where Lewis can help Kmet.

Let's leave it as this. I have an opinion and it is 100% supported by Kmet and what I see on tape. You are free to have a different opinion but there is no logical reason for me to accept yours when mine is actually supported by the player.

And if you are being honest you know if Lewis or Caleb had come out taking the blame you would not just believe my opinion over your own when Caleb and Lewis were supporting your opinion and not mine.
