Big question here, when I am considered for merit based scholarships are schools going to look at my unweighted gpa(3.1) or my weighted(3.5)?
If they look at weighted that could earn me a lot more money so this is important



*im aware my gpa,specifically the weighted, is pretty bad but there's not much I can do to change it now

I think that might depend on the scholarship. I wouldn't know though...didn't have much luck in the scholarship department

So how long is to long for a college essay? I wrote the longer of the two depaul essays and the only length requirements was a minimum if 250 words. I finished with 523....to much?

If all they give you is a minimum you should be fine. That said...you don't have to write a book. I forget how long 523 words is (3 pages?) but you could probably get away with trimming it down a little, imo.

Well I didn't add a header yet(which leads to my next question) but as it stand the essay is double spaced and size 12 font and with 523 words it's not even close to 3 pages it's about a page and a 3rd of the second page
