If Eberflus doesn't win 9+ games/makes the playoffs it's my expectation that he'll be fired next year. He was the betting favorite to be the first HC fired in the first part of the season this year. That seat is warm.

There's more stability with Quinn having 4 years on his deal and there's not the expectation that they'll win from the jump. The Bears need to win from the jump next year.

They blew the Lions game because of Eberflus.

Also Frank Reich just got fired year 1 into his 6 or so year contract. Dan Quinn could suffer the same if they start off that badly. Anyone could.

That's where my sarcasm comes from. I realize I am on record saying to keep Justin while we already have Caleb fans saying he should get a couple of years to adapt and learn the offense.
