My preferred beer of choice these days is scotch whiskey and soda water.

Occasionally I will change things up with Vodka and cranberry with some lime juice.....

As far as those bubbly beers people drink that take like 8 to get me buzzed and taste like total ass, I am not sure why those are popular.

This doesn't surprise me at all.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bears
Is that available year round, and is it available all over the state or is the distro smaller?

All year. It used to be a little difficult to find a few years back, but now it's everywhere (grocery stores etc). They may be shipping out of state now too, not sure.

Last beer I had was an Old Rasputin aged about 4 years, fucking excellent. but then again its damn good fresh.

Also recently had Goose Islands the Muddy, it may be my top imperial stout.

Make sure you try Founders Imperial stout or Bells Expedition stout and then look back at the GI stout. For me Bells or Founders are great.

Both of those have been on my list for years, just never got around to trying them yet. Founders KBS especially, but thats hard to come by. Seen their breakfast stout around a lot, but like I said for one reason or another never tried it. Want to though.

The KBS is a barrel aged stout, so while it is considered world class its not the same style as a non barrel aged stout.

I know. Some brewers literally take their standard stout(or other styles) and barrel age it while others brew a whole other beer for barrel aging. Some do both.

Need to maintain a 28% beer cost. Our draft lines run for a while so some product is lost and all of those except the Lagunitas and Blue Moon (need one cheapie) are local brews. Beer is expensive! Will be replacing the Lagunitas once the keg is empty.

Beer is not that expensive. One of my favorite bars in Chicago: http://www.maproom.com/beer-list/

Here it is. Colorado has a strong economy relatively speaking. My keg of Glider Cider comes in over $180. When you factor in the beer snobs (reminds me of the Pinot Noir craze after Sideways came out) beer is easy $$$ right now. It will change once they realize it's still just beer.

I asked my buddy how much he pays for it out in Colorado and he says he can get an Old Chub Nitro on tap for 5, sometimes 4.50. Same with Lagunitas. I searched beer menus (Old Chub Nitro) and your prices are comparable to the most expensive in New York, higher than most. Well if you can sell it that high and move it more power to you I guess.

Not a real exciting list for hoppy IPA lovers.
