the least sympathized human being in this country is a black male over the age of 8...just look at the outrage in this thread..you'd be hard pressed to find a fourth of that in threads about the killing of unarmed black children...unless of course it's to point out black on black crime and bail out police brutality

I disagree on a technicality: it depends on the human. I can think of no less than 5 humans I personally know that I would not hesitate to kill if it meant saving the life of my cat.

.Seriously though, when you think of a cat or any pet for that matter, i general they decent and bring joy to you. The same cannot be said of all humans.
While I know this is über-hyperbole, I don't think any person could argue in hindsight that Hitler, Stalin, Milosovec, Pol Pot, Vals Tepes, Mussolini, et al had lives that were more valuable than your average housepet.
