I will say this. If I ran in a house fire and heard a baby crying in one direction and a dog barking in the other I would run toward the baby first. If time, I would go back for the dog too.

You wouldn't have to, dog would be in the same room protecting the baby.

I agree though.

I was watching a documentary on a study of wild foxes. I don't remember it all but I think it took them a few generations to get foxes that could be labeled domesticated. Animal instincts are fascinating.

My neighbor shot a cougar. He's proud of it but I have mixed feelings on it. It's only allowed when the game/fish department decide there are too many for health but all the same. I hunt and really enjoy it but only hunt what I'll eat. My uncle is a 40 year Game/Fish guy and said sometimes it's necessary when competition drives them to live stock, but even he said he would never hunt one.
