I want to apologize for today's game. About five runs ago I commented to my Dad that I'm amazed at how well Volstad was pitching and my Dad agreed. I then commented that it was the best game of his career. It went back to normal five batters later

If volstad stays on roster....Im done

DFA him, call up Wells to take his spot in rotation

No. I would put him in bullpen. When team needs GB late in games he perfect guy to bring in. Some guys find nitch in the pen when they sucked at starting. I think its time to find out if he that guy. They need to bring up Wood, not Wells

Chris Volstad is going to have a historically low LOB% if he remains in the rotation all year.

Most of the Cubs roster and the Cubs fan base wanted Z gone. Now you get to deal with it. Too bad.

I agree Z had to go. But i think we all knew that Z would have alot better year then Volstad.

We're lucky we got even Volstad for Zambrano. At least Volstad doesn't singlehandedly bring down the team morale like Zambrano did

I guess if you believe team morale > winning, then this trade was a win for the Cubs

Exactly this is what everyone wanted. You don't get to complain about how it turned out now.
