Buehrle needs to teach these guys how to field.

Buehrle should probably teach them how to pitch too.

I'm hoping the bats show up against the Sox because this team is starting to feel like it is entering a tailspin. I wonder if this is how the season is mostly going to go. Stretches of .500 ball followed up with 6+ game losing streaks.

This team was projected to win no more than 75 games. I think you're going to see more losing than winning. This team is bad, but they are at least fun to watch. At least I think so.

Most nites there fun cause team can keep it close with SP.. But yesterday RP let it become blowout and tonight SP and RP been bad. Cubs cant score so they get about 2-3 runs per game

I was with you up until this series. I was often saying this is the most fun I've had watching a team with whatever record they had at the time. I guess I was expecting closer to the 75 wins than I've been seeing.

If you have absolutely no expectations, then every miscue they make becomes simply laughable

I guess I was starting to delude myself a little with the stretch of 12-10 ball against some pretty good teams.

Even shitty teams have good stretches in a 162-game season.

Dempster's still here. So is Marmol and Soriano. I don't know what they're talking about.

I am well aware of the highs and lows of a baseball season. I never thought that this team was going to do anything, but I guess my hopes for overachieving was raised by that good stretch of ball against good teams. Not to say that is impossible, but it just feels like this team could go into a long losing streak here.
