I thought DeJesus came up as a CF. He had to move to RF though due to age and injury and what not.

Or that wouldnt start for contendings team. Im going to start calling you Mr. Excuse cause you make so many excuses lol

Whatever dude. DeJesus is the least of this team's problems. I never said he was a difference maker, but teams can certainly win with him in thier lineup.

Yea he played more games in CF then RF in his career. But at this point in his career he cant play CF every day. Being a Corner OF he dont produce enough for winning teams. Just a stop gap type of guy

I've been saying that for years. I think I have at least one post every season CCS has been opened calling for the end of that stupid tradition.

That's why he signed a two-year/$10MM contract instead of a Pujols contract

Castro!

thats my argument with Dab. He a stop gap guy. Not a player a team wants to play everyday if contending.

Thats the biggest load of shit that was created by fans and sabermetrics Obsessive tool bags. If the power and OBP is replaced at another position that usually doesnt have power it doesnt really matter. its a collective stat not per position. I hate when fans say "oh he doesnt hit enough hrs for that position"

Your facts can be easily explained by factors outside of DeJesus's control. Jose Bautista has never played on a contender so I guess you can't win with him either.

Problem is that its hard to find it in other positions. not many 2B, SS, CF have power. So you fill those with corner positions. If your lucky enough to have that then yes you can use corner OF for OBP type of guy. Guess what Cubs dont have that luxary lol

Bautista hasnt hit FA since he become a stud. If Baustista hit FA now he sign with a contender. DeJesus had 2 chances now and both times picked a rebuilding team to play everday

Im not saying DeJesus not playing well. I just pointed out the fact he played for bad teams every year of his career for reason.
