Look d3a I've been consistent about this. I expect LaHair and Campana to come down due to their BABIP numbers being high while I expect Stewart and Soto to improve due to their numbers being low. The reason I don't think a .280/.340 line is reasonable to expect is that because Campana has no power pitchers aren't afraid to groove a get me over pitch to avoid the walk. That will lead to more hits but I doubt his walk rate will jump that much from what it already is about 5%. He also strikes out way more than a no power guy can at 19%. He doesn't put enough balls in play to keep the average high even assuming he has a higher than average BABIP due to his speed.

I agree he does K to much for a guy with no power. Hopefully playing everyday he can learn the strikezone better. I just hate the fact guys write him off so quickly when he has been one of the surprises this year. For a team who cant score he one of the guys who does seem to do something everday to help score runs

Look at that another speed guy doing his thing.

The difference between Juan Pierre and Campana is that Pierre strikes out at a ridiculously low rate (career 5.7%) so he puts a ton more balls in play than Campana does. Not to mention that Pierre actually has more power than Campana does which speaks to how little Campy has.

Not sure Pierre has more power then Campy. Pierre just uses both sides of the field. Has learned to hit the ball down the lines. Campy needs to learn how to pull the ball down the line or slap it down 3B line. Seems he tries to go up the middle to often

guys like campana are a dying breed. leadoff guys now are required to be more OBP with some speed (not crazy speed) and some POP in their bat. Id take a guy like de aza all day long over a guy like campana. deaza is the type of player that is the new leadoff type trend.

I am actually pretty content with DeJesus as a leadoff hitter. I just wish he was 5 years younger so he would likely be around when it mattered.

AJ is a hard nosed player. Alot of teams would love to have him.

Look at the shit the Rays have at catcher. Chris Gimenez & Jose Molina.

Campana has cleared the fences one time as a professional. Pierre has done 16 times at the big league level. Campana is perhaps the weakest batter in the big leagues.

Thats where i think the game will be changing back soon. Cause offense is down across the league i think burners like Campana will be coming back. There are more and more guys coming into the league like that. Gordon LAD SS, Revere MIN OF, Guy in CIN system suppose to be the fastest guy in all pro ball in Hamilton SS.

The Giants and Twins were certainly quick to run him out of town :troll:

There is a reason why he never played on a winner. Its cause he a 4th OF. Has 10 HR power, 10 SB speed. Teams that win need more from RF

:troll: ing ass mofo!

AJ was sent out of minny because of mauer.

AJs tenure with the giants was short because of tomko.

AJ comes here and 1st year wins a WS. and like the article states handles pitchers very well. called a no no and perfecto. plus for a catcher he can hit.

AJ is a good player. He's a dick though hahaha. But honestly, who cares how much of a dick he is if he's good at baseball?
