The way Bedard ran down 1B line is exactly how i look on Sundays playing softball lol
Its all the money that the cubs are eating to make players go away. They are doing it too much and it could cost the team if the bottom line is projected the way that the forecasters for the cubs predicted. hovering around .500 fans will still probably go to games, not in droves, but they will go....a team like this in july and it will be a ghost town.
Some places can get away with it like the sox for example.reinsdorf is fithy rich and only uses the sox for "hobby". ricketts has to make money, people have to go.
The money given to them was given by Hendry. Zambrano quit on the team last year. Byrd was batting about .140 when he was traded. How does having them here keep fans here?
And, the Cubs have been bad before. ppl will still come to games. They may not be sellouts, but it'll be far from "a ghost town", too.

Rain headed toward Pittsburgh. #cubs #besthope
Looks like 1 bad pitch could lose this game for garza
If Garza didn't throw that pitch, would the Cubs have magically scored?
