yeah but whether he is playing well or not the cubs are still going to be eating the salary and not getting much back.

But the ability to move him at all with any saved salary still depends on it. Soriano looks awful out there and not the way he used to look awful out there.

Soriano needs to be double switched out.

By that I mean that Mather should play LF and LaHair should play 1B because Baker looked in great pain as well. Travis Wood might have to eat a bullet for the team here.

Soriano needs to be double switched out.

They need his bat in the lineup as sad of a statement as that might be.

Wood has lost it since that Soriano misplayed double.

Only teams not to be shut out yet this season:

D'Backs - later on tonight
Tigers - avoided shutout in loss
Indians - coming back against Twins
Giants - not today, Zurg!

It is a terrible lineup he is facing, but Wood has been real solid again.

I'll say it again 5th SP>RP.

Brandon Crawford, who by the way is tied for most errors by a shortstop in baseball, has had a real nice game defensively. Baker continues to hit the ball very hard at him.

Travis Wood is trying to kill the catcher with foul balls.

We got to keep that GIDP number up. Koyie was trying to do his part.

26 appearances for Camp through 53 games for the Cubs. Needs to pick up the pace to catch up to Mike Marshall.
