What should the 2011 Opening Day lineup be? My 2 cents:

1. Marlon Byrd - CF
2. Starlin Castro - SS
3. Carlos Pena - 1B
4. Aramis Ramirez - 3B
5. Tyler Colvin - RF
6. Geo Soto - C
7. Alfonso Soriano - LF
8. Blake DeWitt - 2B
9. Ryan Dempster - P

Byrd may not be ideal for the leadoff spot. He may eb more of a force lower in the order. But then again, he could be like the 2008 Alfonso Soriano but with less power but a higher OBP.

obviously anyone who trades for him, the cubs will have to eat alot of the contract or take on a player with salary like teabag

Exactly... If a team were to trade for him they'd get a pretty good deal money wise and a good player.

You sure he's a career .259 hitter? His 3 MLB seasons have been .257, .259, and .281.
