Well if win the Garza game then we earn the split that I predicted. If we get lucky with a Volstad start we might win back to back series.

Certainly seem to be going with a B squad for the day game after a night game.

Fun Stat:

Game 1 - Cubs have 4 walks, Phillies have 0 walks. Cubs win.
Game 2 - Phillies have 4 walks, Cubs have 0 walks. Phillies win.

Campana makes it 2-0 on a close play. My thought in realtime was he got his leg on the base between the leg.

Another check swing where they don't show the side view. It was real quick, but Garza might have gotten a liitle help with that call. This will be his second real dominant start in the month with two quality starts mixed in with that disaster start in Miami.

I wish Garza knew how to hit.

In a year or two it won't matter because MLB will just implement the DH in both leagues...

It's inevitable if pitchers don't start to fucking hit better :nelson:

Yeah the bolded part in my quote was what I was implying. I added the part about being traded because it might happen sooner than that change mlb is going to implement.

When even the announcers say a hit by a pitcher is a surprise, it's time to fix that

Big strike zone helping Garza out, but it is nice to see him coming back from throwing 6 balls to get Pence.

Garza probably is done in this coming inning. Pitch count getting up there.
