It is hard to do, but how much gas does Garza have left. He looked pretty shaky that inning. I am guessing he starts the eighth unless his spot comes up in the batting order this half inning, but first guy on and his day is done.

If they bat around to get to Garza's spot this inning I'm pretty sure he's done for the day

That is the second time he has beat a pitchout.

Tony Campana scored a run all by himself right there. Great job, young fella.

Nice small ball inning. It will be nice to see that the Cubs are doing these things well, and when their record still sucks we can focus again on the lack of talent issue this team has had for a while.

Castro's steal percentage is starting to drop.

LaHair having a good day. Man it would be nice if he could play something besides 1B.

Phils defense has granted the Cubs a few extra bases this inning.

Ian Stewart still hitting the ball hard with very little to show for it I see.

Lineup

Tony/Barney/Starlin/LaHair/Baker/Stewart/Mather/Castillo/Garza

B Squad might be better than the A Squad.

Love Camp. Like Barney in the two. Like Soto not in the line-up. Mather can play. Would like to move Stewart to the 9 spot in the order.

Happy to see Sveum pull Garza after that 7th inning. I thought they would trot him back out there, but I suppose it was easier with the 5 run lead.

So who gets the ninth with a 5 run lead?
