**** the Phillies!

Marmol has to the be the worst reliever in baseball.

Garza played great yesterday.

Lets go get another one!

Offense needs to show up again tonight, and we might win back to back series. And I'm going to play this clip after every win til we win 3 in a row...

Cubs at 77 runs. I don't remember for certain, but I believe that was enough for you to win your bet right Rice?

Had them at 70.

Unless the Pirates kick some crazy ass tonight they will be the only team not likely to get to 70. Oakland needs just 3 against the Sawx.

That is what I thought. The Cubs are actually averaging 3.5 runs a game right now which is only .5 runs than last year which considering it being April and the personel is pretty impressive.

I'm trying to figure out how it is that the Pirates are so atrocious on offense. McCutchen is getting on base but has no homers yet. Their team BABIP isn't too horrible (about the same as Oakland's) but I guess the events are not happening in a sequence that would lead to runs scoring. It's really crazy. They are on pace to score about 380 runs which would be deadball era bad, but I do think it will normalize at some point.

The Pirates will get better I am sure, but I really hadn't looked at the roster to see why they are terrible. I might check it out because that would be an impressive lack of runs.

Ump giveth, ump taketh away...DeJesus was safe, and that changes the inning pretty dramatically.

Starting to see how Volstad has a ERA over 6 and FIP and xFIP under 3.7.

My god is that frustrating to watch the Phillies hit the ball pretty weakly resulting in 3 "hits"

That was the first ball that didn't hop at least twice out of the infield, and the Phillies have 4 runs.
