Pedroia is a beast...Uggla is OK, nothing spectacular by any measure.

Depends on the league really. Ugglas home runs can be very valuable from the 2B spot.

Still trading them straight up earlier in the season does not seem advisable.

Yeah true...but Pedroia is still more valueable than Uggla by a good margin. Uggla really only has the hr's to Pedroia and only 13 more, not too much (Uggla 30 and Pedroia 17).

Yes in real baseball it's not close. In fantasy it's much closer though.

Yeah I guess that can be true. But like you've already mentioned, it depends on the scoring stats the league is made up of.

Yeah definitely. Hell I might keep two second baseman in my league.

Uggla and Weeks.

I know Weeks is a Cub rival, but IU actually like Weeks. He's an all out offensive player; however, his defense needs to be worked on.

Uggla really only has been good during his hit streak.

  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Minnesota United FC
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Notre Dame Fighting Irish
I traded Uggla for Pedroia, Rivera for Bell and Kyle Drabek for something else.

Oh yeah definitely will keep weeks over uggla but with the rest of my team I am not sure to keep over uggla.

I got weeks, Ellsbury, Justin upton, and cliff lee for sure.

Then it's between uggla and posey I guess. Prolly posey.

Last year I was near last place and traded Arod/Price for Upton/Lee. Boy that's worked out well. I was ridiculed for it too but I had to get younger.

Now only if Adam Dunn remembered what he did for a living.
