If what is being reported is true, then the Cubs may have been concerned about either the money exchange or Haren's medical reports so I doubt it will be Theo/Cubs that flinch first.

yeah, we should know something for sure in the next little bit. Of course, unless I'm missing something, there's nothing stopping LAA from shopping Haren after paying him for the upcoming season. I guess that's no guarantee, though.
