Anyone worried about him not getting any attention to the foot that caused him to have the bad year? I know he says its a non issuse, but he also said the pain went away as soon as the season ended whats to say once he gets back into full baseball workouts (im sure he is doing his offseason stuff) but i mean the full grind of a regular season that it may flare back up?
And I wanted to say im sorry to anyone here i have upset im not trying to make enemies. I was just extremly upset but after a beer i have cooled down and wanted to apologize.

I think his foot problems has a lot to do w/ the artificial turf at Tropicana Field. Playing at Wrigley should lessen his foot troublesAnyone worried about him not getting any attention to the foot that caused him to have the bad year? The guy had some big health issues last year with his foot... I can't imagine that it's easy to hit well when it feels like you're walking on glass anytime you take a step.

A career .241 hitter being made out to be the second coming of Lou Gehrig.

If Pena does recover, the Cubs could be just a few breaks away from contention in 2011. A healthy, powerful Pena, along with a recovered Ramirez, could help fuel the team’s offense. The pitching staff could also see some improvements in 2011. Each of the team’s five presumptive starters — Carlos Zambrano, Carlos Silva, Tom Gorzelanny, Randy Wells, and Ryan Dempster, had a FIP under 4.00 in 2010. These combined could lead the Cubs back into the picture for a relatively weak NL Central.
This is how I see it, it's a 2 year deal worth 5M. Not too bad! I actually like it more now.
