No. I've heard they don't think he'll be ready after spring training, but will be called up sometime during the 2012 season. Also, it depends on if the Cubs can trade Soriano, Byrd, sign Cespdes and if they make any trades.

First off, sorry for being a ghost the last couple months. Been pretty busy.
A couple things about Dejesus' season last year.
1. He had a career low in BABIP.
2. This could probably be attributed to Oakland and bad luck. I say Oakland because they have an insane amount of foul territory and his IFFB% spiked to 10%.
The reason I say he was unlucky is because his LD% stayed basically the same. Wrilgey should help some of his numbers improve.

i dont disagree i hate Barney in 2 hole. Cubs dont have options. They have to many 8 hole hitters on this team

DeJesus is one of those signings that might not look good stat wise, but it's what he brings. He's a smart hitter, can play all 3 OF positions and has very good range. Smart on the bases, knows when to stretch to doubles or triples. Plus the main thing, he's a Lefty that hits RHP hard.
