The worst part about this bullshit signing is this is their “backs against the wall” move lol. They couldn’t even get creative and trade for a young guy that could possibly end up being something. They just gave a 30+ guy that’s never won anything half of our cap space.

LOL the Bears the traded for him because the country basically shutdown and besides knowing the coaches he

agreed to restructure his deal
agreed to to move his family across the country during a pandemic
agreed to a qb competition with Mitch

You keep ignoring the facts AND Covid all because you are selling that somehow Dalton was gonna sign with us if we waited when he already said he had plenty of offers but chose the Cowboys because he wouldnt have to move his family during Covid and already had a house in the Dallas area but hey if the Bears wouldve waited they end up with no qbs but Mitch and Bray on the roster when we all know the fact is they had to find someone else that was at least willing to compete with Mitch .

The only person ignoring he facts here is you .

Mitch has a 92.5 Qb rating in the playoffs. This slug dalton has a playoffs Qb rating of 57.8 :mad:

To add on, Mitchell and Co. would of beaten the Eagles if it wasn't for Parkey ruining Mitchell's playoff clutch drive. Mitchell does have some drive that's for sure but many fans were already done with him because he was drafted way to high, etc. (true)

Then, in a way, MT kind of willed the Bears back into the playoffs with his return last season along with a really tired/overplayed defense and a stubborn coach that abandoned the run game that ALSO didn't know or have any idea who was gonna call the game and on top of having only a few days to prep for play caller changes last season 4 times!. You guys see where I'm going with this?
IMO, They scapegoat Mitchell so bad on black Monday, they had to save face and probably told George it's all Mitchell's fault, then Pace and Nagy turns around and signed Dalton to 10MIL and Foles is insurance.

Kind of funny btw...it's now the aftermath of Mitchell and now look at how horrendous this F.O really is.

I am calling it now. They will defend keeping Pace because he tried "really hard" to get Wilson and created a team that Wilson would consider playing on. Then when that didn't work and with their “backs against the wall," he did not sell out the future of the Bears to save himself.
