Please discuss cordially unless of course you have witty insults to use. I’m sorry if this destroys some of the narratives that he took a step back this year. But he’s quietly ascending to the elite tier of RT’s in the league with awful coaching and a QB that lacks understanding of the importance of getting the ball out.

I like him fine but that's overstated. He's benefitting from inside rusher getting there 1st. Like I said, he's good and will get better with coaching and new scheme.

This metric puts him among the top in % without help. It puts him in the top 30-35% in his grade over expectation, which is good but not elite.

Would you trust me to be a ProFootballFocus analyst?

I had the opportunity to do it but I turned it down.

If there are 32 different analysts watching 32 teams how do you overcome their biases and opinions on each player to form a concensus on each player?

The consensus of the board is Darnell Wright is either the first or second best offensive lineman on the team but the same consensus of the board doesn't see him as an above average player especially in pass protection.

He definitely is poor against elite rushers.

Is any of this acceptable for a Top-10 pick?

Simple. If you were working for PFF your grading would be subject to multiple levels of review and given how obviously biased you are I imagine you would be fired after a few months once they caught you trying to give Billings credit for Dexter's sacks.

You are a case study in why PFF has a use because you are so blinded by your biases and preconceived ideas.

I don’t think PFF has a grade that looks like this:

Drafted by Ryan Poles = Sucks no matter what

By the way, how did the Bears manage to hire the top coaching candidate of the last two cycles with the McCaskeys still in charge?

One nice bit here is that BJ had great linemen and he was still scheming to have them in positions to succeed more regularly.

Simple Caleb Williams is the QB.

If the Bears decided to keep Justin Fields and drafted the haul they're worse off now than they are with Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson is going to a different team.

The Raiders don't have a QB.

The Jags had Trent Baalke and Khan.

Dallas had their eyes on Schottenheimer only

The Saints also don't have a QB

The Jets don't have a QB

The Patriots only wanted Vrabel

Next dumb question....

Fix the interior and this OL isnt as terrible as people think.
Ummmmm huh? How can anybody think the Bears with the inside of the OL is bad if we haven't fixed it yet?
