Wonder what he said this time
He splattered the board with numerous repugnant opinions. It wasn’t just one.Wonder what he said this time
I’ve been aware of that for years. I mean what was the tipping point for the modzHe splattered the board with numerous repugnant opinions. It wasn’t just one.
I’m not going to pretend Dexter is better than Carter. But not going to ignore he took a huge leap from year one to year two. I think he’s developing nicely
When Carter started off year playing poorly, Daniel blamed it on Fangio moving Carter to DE full-time. Snap counts actually showed he only played about 6% of his snaps at that time at DE lol.
Yes, I remember when he was Mongo 76. His act has been tired for a long time.I’ve been aware of that for years. I mean what was the tipping point for the modz
Hey rabbit ears, the whole board did not tout Dexter over Carter and it's not the issue anyway.
OK. Were there 1000 of those each Monday? Big board with outspoken people like you. Most don't have rabbit ears and play me against the world and are then surprised when the world actually responds in kind. From training camp when Dexter did the DE conditioning test to about week 6 there was a weekly thread about how great Dexter is. Every Monday morning a new Dexter post directly comparing his start with Carter.
Then Dexter closed out the year with one sack in his last 10 starts and the entire went dead about Dexter's so called success.
Now that it's off season arguing season where the Bears are Super Bowl champions of winning the off season we're back to touting how great Dexter is. It's laughable. Dexter's impact is minimal.
Dexter is a good player and he’s ascending. Wright is a good player and he’s ascending. From training camp when Dexter did the DE conditioning test to about week 6 there was a weekly thread about how great Dexter is. Every Monday morning a new Dexter post directly comparing his start with Carter.

Who is better Dexter or Osa Odighizuwa from Dallas? If Odighizuwa hits the open free agent market what should the Bears do to acquire him since they need DT depth.Dexter is a good player and he’s ascending. Wright is a good player and he’s ascending.
You’re just eating yourself up trying to be right.
Maybe you should start a podcast and see if you can monetize it.
I’ll see if I can line up McDonald’s as a sponsor.
I didn’t watch enough Cowboys football to make an educated assessment. You would be wise to follow a similar philosophy.Who is better Dexter or Osa Odighizuwa from Dallas? If Odighizuwa hits the open free agent market what should the Bears do to acquire him since they need DT depth.
"The world" only shows up when things are going well or it's the off season and there's no direct evidence of shitty play directly in front of their face.OK. Were there 1000 of those each Monday? Oh so you're not going to tout PFF in this case?I didn’t watch enough Cowboys football to make an educated assessment. You would be wise to follow a similar philosophy.
Oh so you're not going to tout PFF in this case?
I say it's @KittiesKornerSo who is more chronically butthurt, @DanielCCSBears or @hyatt151 ?
Give me an example of me touting PFF in regard to Dexter. Don’t ask a question if you don’t know the answer.Oh so you're not going to tout PFF in this case?
Well, you would, as you are a butthurt old manI say it's @KittiesKorner
Pressures are essentially made up stats and I never heard of them before PFF. Getting within 3 yards of the QB contains such a wide range of outcomes, it's pretty meaningless to give someone the same credit for something that has such widely differing outcomes.Dexter does have a higher pressure rate than carter.
That isnt a made up PFF stat
The difference is that carter dominates in crunch time when the game matters more, and makes more impact plays.
Carter is also more impactful against the run.
That doesnt mean dexter still isnt a good player with the potential to be great also. Your own stupid fat donut self said DT's/OL take 3-4 years to fully develop, but im not shocked your brain damage prevented you from remembering your prior hot takes.
Just one slight disagreement....Carter doesn't always dominate in crunch time.....Ex: Dec. 22nd vs Redskins.....he'll have a chance today to change that vs the same Redskins team. Didn't do s*^t vs the Packers in the playoffs either. But overall, we're on the same page with America's Favorite Serial Killer. He's just a notch below being one of the best in the league. But I'll take that. And as you and Remydat have mentioned in posts, when Billings was lined up next to him, AFSK was playing at All-Pro level.Dexter does have a higher pressure rate than carter.

Nothing but, imo.......He splattered the board with numerous repugnant opinions. It wasn’t just one.
I am not knocking Wright but in this day and age you can come up with complex formulas and numbers that make a pile of shit look like a dozen roses. My eye test said he did not play as well this past year as his rookie year.
Please discuss cordially unless of course you have witty insults to use. I’m sorry if this destroys some of the narratives that he took a step back this year. But he’s quietly ascending to the elite tier of RT’s in the league with awful coaching and a QB that lacks understanding of the importance of getting the ball out.
