Not sure about most but certainly high.

And the data suggests we were right when it comes to the starters who all had pretty good pass blocking grades.
4 of the 5 guys don't even look like they can continue to be starters.

Please discuss cordially unless of course you have witty insults to use. I’m sorry if this destroys some of the narratives that he took a step back this year. But he’s quietly ascending to the elite tier of RT’s in the league with awful coaching and a QB that lacks understanding of the importance of getting the ball out.

Two points:

1) PFF is absolute dogshit when it comes to rating offensive line. Case in point beyond the ongoing Braxton Jones arguments, Even in the past they've had Charles Leno Jr and jmarcus Webb as top tackles during their Bears tenure during seasons where they've performed absolutely horribly. PFF never seems to be able to get offensive line grading correct.

2) despite what I said about 1), Darnell Wright passes the eye test. Unfortunately the eye test is still the best way to evaluate offensive linemen rather than with an arbitrary grade.

Wright held his own far more often than not, and does all the things you would expect from an NFL tackle. He absolutely is someone who could start on a playoff caliber team at right tackle.

Two early season games against the Houston Texans have been major predictors for the Bears. The first came with Justin Fields performance in 2022 week 3. The second was week 2 2024 after that obscene offensive line performance. Ryan Poles isn't yet fired but he inevitably will be after continued failure.

Ryan Poles is a horrible fucking GM.

Dexter is like Shea McClellin he's got Bears twitter fan experts hanging on to false hope.

When Draft Dr. Phil was touting Shea McClellin on here and on Twitter is was the same stupid hope on here.
Here’s a hard truth for you…

Don’t quit your day job.

Yeah, but I have it on good authority that he can't play center for shit.

No they arent. They are just dumb baises.

Someone not being biased would admit that Dexter had a solid year even if Carter is better.

They would also admit Carter played with another DT that was top 10 in the metrics which obviously helped him and that once Billings went down it made things harder on Dexter.

But you are you so you will keep allowing your biases cloud your judgement which is why you are not fit for PFF much less sports journalism.
It's so funny that you think Dexter is anywhere as dominant as Carter is because of these PFF grades and metrics. No one who has watched Dexter play believes he's in the same universe as Carter.

It’s obvious that @bamainatlanta has triggered Daniel with this thread.

I can’t imagine being a fan of the Bears and hoping that their young players don’t ascend because I predicted they would be bad on a message board.

Ready for more “hard truths” incoming!

@ILoveDick are you more or less pessimistic than Daniel?

Dexter does have a higher pressure rate than carter.

That isnt a made up PFF stat

The difference is that carter dominates in crunch time when the game matters more, and makes more impact plays.

Carter is also more impactful against the run.

That doesnt mean dexter still isnt a good player with the potential to be great also. Your own stupid fat donut self said DT's/OL take 3-4 years to fully develop, but im not shocked your brain damage prevented you from remembering your prior hot takes.

Daniels a weirdo, I wonder how much he embarrasses his children in real life.

I do agree with him however that PFF grades are trash.

Kinda shocked @Montucky has yet to comment on this thread. Guy thinks Darnell Wright is a giant bust, which he's not. Anyone with eyes can see he's by far our best lineman and about the only one with pro bowl level talent(Maybe tev, but he's hurt always)

Not what I said. I note your biases still prevent you from admitting Dexter is good in his own right and that Carter benefits from playing with a DT that put up better pass rush numbers on a per snap basis.

That's nice. So tell me then who should remain a starter?
Jones, Jenkins and Wright are starters easily. Even Shelton can likely get a starting gig somewhere give he starter with the Rams before joining the Bears.

My biases are just the hard truths none of you meatballs can stand.

In week 4 the entire board was touting Dexter over Carter. Strange how 14 weeks later that changed.
Hey rabbit ears, the whole board did not tout Dexter over Carter and it's not the issue anyway. People are happy Dexter looks to be on his way to a top DT and the issue you seem incapable of perceiving is part of the title. Would the Bear be overall better with Carter and whomever else they would have put at RT or with Wright and Dexter.

Team game.

There's also the issue of whether the Bear could have gotten this much out of Carter but that's a different hypothetical requiring more assumptions and counterproductive to this simpler quandary.

When Carter started off year playing poorly, Daniel blamed it on Fangio moving Carter to DE full-time. Snap counts actually showed he only played about 6% of his snaps at that time at DE lol.
