My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Michigan Wolverines
  2. Ohio Bobcats
Now if we can get a DT that can be a force in the middle, our line should at least be respectable

Sounds like Houston. Creates pressure even though he doesn't always get to the QB. How much of that was due to Sue and Fairley though.

Exactly. I know people think stats are an overrated stat, but when you have a D-line like the Lions do, he should definitely be getting more sacks than 3. Just saying.

It's not a bad signing by any means, but let's not get too excited about a player who has fewer sacks in four seasons than Peppers had last year alone.

Now lets resign Tillman and Melton and were in decent shape.

He's listed at 6-foot-4 251-pounds, I guess we'll see how this works out. I don't understand why another team wouldn't step up and sign a pass rusher for this price if he's truly a good player.

Young, no pun intended, and improving.

If we get Tillman back today I will be very happy and impressed.

I think Emery is trying to catch two players on the upswing.....Young started games for the first time in his career last year. I don't know if he is a playmaker but at 3 mil a year no big deal....look for us to draft a DE........we are getting younger

Nice move by the Bears. Good rotational guy who can pressure the QB. IMO he'll be put in a pass rush specialist type role, which will let him focus on his strengths.

Willie Young - 16 games (15 starts) | 47 tackles, 3.0 sacks, 4 TFL, 5 PD, 0 FF, 2 FR

Young had a pretty solid season at defensive end. He had 3.0 sacks and 4 tackles for a loss, and he also recovered 2 fumbles. He wasn't constantly wreaking havoc with opposing offensive lines or anything like that, but he finally carried over his strong play in the preseason to the regular season. The timing couldn't have been better for Young, as he is set to become a free agent this offseason.

Im curious is to why the Lions listed him at 6'4 when at the combine he measured in at 6'5 but the guy has 34 1/2 arms. Our Kung Fo guru is going to turn him into a superstar!!!!!!

You could say the same thing about Michael Bennett the past two years.

Hmmm maybe because reality doesn't work in a scenario where that's likely to happen.
