Over compensating? I dunno, but I don't think anyone is declaring this guy is either a) saving the D on his own or b) going to be a standout, but he is adding to depelted line, and fills in/depth.

who do you want then? a 32 year old DE who can't stop the run, who wants 10m/yr and whose best days are behind him? Or a guy who is upcoming, young, and can create pressure?

You act like we have Raiders' money. or that we can fill every goddamn hole in FA. The DE's this FA aren't that great. Some solid ones. We got 2 new DE's.

We still have to get a FA CB if Tillman leaves....and draft one as well. Melton....I don't know, but we will get a CB soon. There are a bunch of solid ones out there still. Cromartie, DRC, Tillman, Brown, Champ, to name a few

In regards to Young's age, no pun intended, I think he will play alot younger than his traditional age. He was buried on the Lions depth chart for a few years and has never seen a full workload.
