Ben Johnson is returning to the place his biggest influences coached. John Shoop, Adam Gase and Mike Martz are all former Bears coaches.
And in the meantime, all of your HC choices are doing what exactly?

Exactly.

Butt Hurt is when you finish 5-12, and only win one NFC North game.
Oh wait no, that would be anal gaping..................
Let's play would you rather...

Would you rather be 5-12 with a new shiny HC and picking 10th, and an opportunity to get a blue chip player.
Or picking 28th with all of your major coordinators scalped, and reeling from a season when many experts picked you to win it all...

Brady said it himself.... Detroit may not get that chance again in a long time..

Hey look!!

Bears are winning the off season again.
Meanwhile, as Lions assistant coaches get hired away to promotions, having worked with D. Campbell, Bears ex-coaches are flipping burgers, bagging groceries, and washing cars.

The funniest thing is, as they laugh at the Lions, they seem oblivious to the fact the Bears are trying to be the Lions.
Do you remember when the Lions first hired Dan Campbell, the reaction here?
Who's laughing now?

CCS, clueless as ever.
Probably not as bad as the reactions in Detroit 1.5 years in and people were putting him on the hot seat.

I was a huge fan of the Dan Campbell hire. Just because there’s a few here who said he was a meatball hire doesn’t mean we all thought that. He’s literally my favorite coach in the league. Besides BJ now of course

present company excluded, and with all due respect, it was more than a few.

I would choose the team with the best odds to win the Superbowl in 2026, between the Bears and the Lions, the week before the season starts.
Care to make a wager, which team that might be?
And no one had the Lions winning the Superbowl in the closing weeks, as the Lions suffered far more than what is normal on the injury front.

Wait what has Campbell won? Absolutely nothing. If anything, he might have squandered your window with his choke job in last year’s NFCCG.

I'll make a 6-month ban bet with you that the Bears will get a playoff win before Detroit will.

Remember when everyone told you that Campbell choking away the playoff game last year was a big deal because they had great injury luck and it won't always be like that? And that he will lose Ben Johnson?

Remember when everyone here kept telling you that Goff is not a QB you can win a Superbowl with? And that McVay figured that out and proved it?

But, please carry on with your week long cope-fest by trolling a Bears board loser.

And Declan Doyle as OC.
I really don't like this one. He's 28 and didn't exactly do a great job with DEN's TE's this year. Would much rather have had Shaw or someone else with HC experience to balance out the staff. It's probably not AS big of a deal with Johnson calling plays, but still.

Dennis Allen, on the other hand, was the big hire. Huge. Glad that one has been finalized.
