Can't wait for CCS to fall apart when nobody has ever heard of him, and then a few hours later all of CCS loves him when tweets and articles start coming out about how he's turned some OL around and he's a great mind in football and we all love him and act like we knew him all along.

And then as soon as his footwork walking into the building to sign his contract isn’t “elite” he is a nobody and shouldn’t even be coaching pee wee fooseball

So Declan Doyle has a racist backwoods hillbilly Dad? I mean is anyone surprised by this? He named his kid Declan Doyle.

Looking further into the father, and all I see is accusations of racism because he didn't want his team to kneel for the anthem during the George Floyd riots, and then got forced to resign from Jacksonville one day after being hired thanks to cancel culture.

That in and of itself isn't indicative of actual racism, despite the accusations, if this all stands from not allowing his team to kneel. That could be due to patriotism.

But I don't know enough -does anyone have anything beyond that? Did he use slurs on the players? Were there any accusations that PRE-DATE the Floyd riots?

Also, not seeing any proof that Chris Doyle got Declan a job with the Saints. Seems like cancel culture bullshit and punishing the kid for things they are angry at the dad for.

Actually, you are incorrect. And LOL at boiling racism down to using racial slurs.

James Daniels tweeted, “there are too many racial disparities in the Iowa football program. Black players have been treated unfairly for far too long.”[5] Several other Iowa players added to Daniels' claims, citing Doyle and offensive coordinator Brian Ferentz as two of the leading causes of racial disparities in Iowa football.

The classic hide behind misunderstood patriotism right wing mantra

It was just something I saw and not meant to be taken seriously... just a free shot at Montucky. No one should really judge DD on the actions of his dad, whatever the truth is behind the allegations.

Plus he might be a really good patriotic coach.

Nobody’s punishing the kid you racist, creepy nerd who has been posting since 2 am
And for 4 days straight spamming Tweets he doesn't understand, thinking he is PWNING TEH LIBZ... instead of taking care of the daughter he claims to have. Father of the year right here, he even claims to have indoctrinated his daughter with his own racist tendencies and she even know what an ICE vehicle looks likeA

I really don't like this one. He's 28 and didn't exactly do a great job with DEN's TE's this year. Would much rather have had Shaw or someone else with HC experience to balance out the staff. It's probably not AS big of a deal with Johnson calling plays, but still.

Dennis Allen, on the other hand, was the big hire. Huge. Glad that one has been finalized.
This doesn't concern me. I'm not worried about having an OC with playcalling experience. I understand getting a young OC that isn't already set in their ways that's going to become an ideas guy at the wrong time.

Had he taken this approach with the DC hire I would understand shitting a brick.

Bears fans are going to have to get used to OCs not really mattering.

Ben Johnson is our OC.

If this thing is run right, we will be going through OCs like tissue paper as they all get hired off to be Head coaches or OCs with play calling abilities every 1-3 years. With Ben being our play caller, it will have zero impact on us.
