He and I do not talk. If I want something done, I go over his head.

Just like Tallon I don't kiss anyone's ass. Fortunately I do not work for the organization so he can not Fire me for not kissing his ass.
He was up in the 300's on Saturday walking around. Nobody recognized him which is kind of funny. I did but I didn't have anything to say.

Yea, he's gotta get that out of his system before the season starts..

That way later he can say, "I'm up there all the time with the real fans"..

I'm of the opinion that it's better to talk to someone respectively if you disagree with a decision. The quickest turnoff is when someone insults you first and then tells you they don't like your idea - I would just chalk that up to some crazy drunk idiot and pay it no bother if I was McD. Although I dont' agree with a lot of the McD decisions he is very cordial to the fans from what I've witnessed and he is approachable. I would just tell him nicely why I think it's a bad idea and I think that would carry a lot more weight than telling him he's a f-ing idiot. Just my 2 cents.
Talked to him once and got the feeling that when he's stopped he's thinking of ways to get out of talking to people and that he would be the kind to talk behind your back the second he got away from you. He just seems sneaky.

And I stand by my statement two years ago that I would absolutely LOVE to push him down a flight of stairs and see his lanky body tumble as he fell. God that would be funny.

Re: Cheli gets a heritage night?!??!?!?!?!

It's kinda funny everyone here must be great friends with cheli......

Facts facts facts.......

I bought tix off a guy who actually knows chris and probably spent

more time with him when he was a hawk and even afterwards when

he came back on trips.......the truth on his exit may never come out....

maybe some of the so called experts should stop him that night and

actually have a conversation with him......shouldn't be a problem since

it has to be true if its posted on a forum......lol

ggeezzz.......

I can only judge him based on what I've seen and how he's treated me when I've spoken to him. I've talked to him twice and he's been very nice both times. I saw a few other fans talking to him and he was very pleasant with them as well. Sounds like others had some not-so-nice moments with him but if the conversation began with 'hey you're a f-ing idiot' can you really blame the guy for being terse or short? I know I would end the conversation right there if someone spoke to me like that.
Don't be fooled. He's NOT nice. There isn't anything NICE about him. Calculating? yes. Arrogant? yes. Nice? nope, not, never

I'd be cool with a Tony "Circus" Hrkac night, but up here at school and not at the UC.

But seriously, where's the Eric Daze Heritage Night or Jocelyn Thibault Heritage Night?
ABC line Heritage Night! Just to remind all of us how 3 guys who dont even play in the league anymore used to be touted as our top line, lol.

We need a Russian Heritage night to get them all out of the way.

I wish I was seeing in the same light as RK, that it's just the action on the ice that matter. But Cheli was my first Hawks favorite, my first jersey and I was almoust broken-hearted when he was traded to the wangs, and as a young kid I took it personal.

But hey, I cant say that he dont deserve a night based on his action on the ice in the Indianhead jersey.

Yeah, he always seems to be calculating something. I always try to see the best in people and in a way I sorta want to like McD but he always looks to me as though he's figuring out the best way to make a buck out of any situation. Also, there's something "evil incarnate" about him.

As far as the Cheli Heritage Night goes, I find it somewhat hilarious that one of the people telling us all how low-class it would be to boo Cheli has said several times that he/she will boo Niemi when he visits the UC as a Shark. Anyway, I'll go with RK on this one -- I won't boo Cheli, but I also won't be applauding him.

While a fan at a Standby's meeting thanked him for having the Cup at the *** Pride parade, I saw him roll his eyes.

He just showed a true side of himself with that gesture........I will always HATE that man.

McD rolled his eyes? And you are sure it was in direct response to that statement? WOW.... that only confirms what we all have been saying.
